Irving Heritage Festival
The Irving Heritage Festival was established in 1991 to promote the downtown business district. There is no admission fee (most activities are also free) and the festival is family-oriented. The festival now stretches three blocks, and is held in and around beautiful Heritage Park. Each year, the festival takes a look at Irving's past through demonstrations by heritage crafters, historical displays, re-enactments, entertainment, games and activities.
The Mustangs of Las Colinas and Museum Exhibit
The Mustangs of Las Colinas are the largest equine sculptures in the world. It features nine breathtaking, bronze wild mustangs running across a granite stream at Williams Square Plaza. Inside the museum you can find the history of these masterpieces (created by Robert Glen), and more sculptures by Glen. This is a must see attraction for all!
